People with neurological and neuromuscular disorders can present numerous movement difficulties that can affect balance, gait, posture, and pain.

Treatment will depend on individual needs and will consist of education and advice on symptom management, balance exercises, body alignment, re-education of gait, management of fatigue, management of pain, spasticity, spasms and muscle tension, among others.

The objective of neurological physiotherapy is to achieve the motor potential of patients and maximize participation in their daily life.
